Hofmann extends Hütteldorf stay

Celebrations swept through the Hanappi Stadion before the home match with Salzburg: Our Captain has signed a new four year deal with the club:

Finally the decision has been taken - Steffen Hofmann will remain at Rapid! The four year deal is inclusive of 2009/ 2010 and hence Steffen is now contracted to the Green-Whites until 2013.

In eight seasons Hofmann has made 265 appearances and scored 80 goals in competitive matches.

We're delighted that Steffen Hofmann will remain in Hütteldorf and look forward to him skippering us to more successes!
