Mag. Dietmar Hoscher, tipp3 Marketing HeadWhat are your experiences and objectives in working together with SK Rapid?tipp3 and SK Rapid have been working together for five years. We have recently concluded a new sponsorship contract for a duration of three years, which includes a development of the partnership. This is a clear sign of how important this cooperation is for us and we value the professional manner in which this works with SK Rapid. Together we are able to reach our core target group more effectively and therefore strengthen and improve upon our brand awareness.How does the cooperation with SK Rapid support you in achieving your objectives?A fundamental cornerstone of the cooperation is the fan club concept developed by the club and supported by tipp3, which puts the focus on the fans. We also focus strongly on the area of event promotion. tipp3 can carry out a variety of different activities in the stadium. The tipp3 Smarts in front of the stadium, where fans can register at www.tipp3.at, also create awareness. The step branding in the whole of the North stand is a new addition from tipp3. These are just a few examples – our cooperation encompasses a wide range of activities.What advice would you give to companies, which are interested in sport sponsorship?The age of classic advertising boards passed a long time ago. We see sponsoring as an increasingly more important factor of our communication, which we focus on our customers. Many of them are football fans and can see that we are heavily involved. This strengthens the affinity with and competence of our company and is also one of the reasons behind the success of tipp3.
