skrapid.at: Christopher, we're currently in the middle of the Training camp, a quick assessment?Christopher Dibon: Firstly you've got to say that we've got top conditions here, even the training pitches and weather are on our side. Its important that we're doing these intensive sessions that are going to help us in the league in the long run.    There's a great mood about the place. Last Summer you mentioned that after signing for Rapid you found it easy to quickly integrate yourself in the squad. That process is probably helped when you join a team that is almost like a family?Absolutely, I've settled in brilliantly because it was so easy to integrate into this positive team. Its just cool, working together with these guys. When you first came to us you were battling a few niggling injuries. But that seems to have sorted itself out with time?Yeah, definitely. I didn't play as consistently in Salzburg and it keeps improving the more games you get in your legs. Through the Europa League I gained more experience and then my stamina has grown little by little. You keep popping up in attack. Pretty keen to score your first Rapid goal?Of course! I'm a defender who always ventures forward and goes up for corners. Its an important point for me, my timing needs to improve. I've had a few chances but I need to get more clinical. Then I'll get one or two early on in the year.Apart from the timing, is there any other points you want to work on during the preparation?I'll say that you can always improve in all aspects. For me its important that we're compact at the back and I just want to deliver top performances. The chances that come my way up front I want to make the most of.You seem calm and quiet away from the pitch, but on the field you seem pretty impulsive. Is the football field the place where you can really express yourself?I just love being on the pitch! Its my absolute dream job. But I don't reckon that in private I'm the quiet guy you just described. Maybe I sometimes come across that way but I see myself as a bit of joker and someone you can have a good laugh with. But on the pitch I gladly take on responsibility and always want to be prepared. You've now been with us for half a year. What moments were you thinking about over your Christmas holidays? The Europa League was of course a great experience, not just for me but also for lots of the players. Apart form the last game I think it was a good year. I absolutely love it here, therefore it was positive for me and as a team we can be satisfied. Are your thoughts wandering towards the Summer when your loan spell comes to an end, or are you not thinking about that yet?Yeah, of course you look forwards, but its the here and now that is important and that I deliver on the pitch. Its very important to me that I play, and when everything falls into place the appropriate conversations will take place that will set the course for the future. What do you want to achieve with Rapid? My aim is clear, to win a title with Rapid. For every player to be able to look back after your career on the successes is of course a beautiful thing. But I've still got plenty ahead in front of me!(gw)
