Despite the season only just finishing, Rapid fans can already get a peek into 2014/15: the official launch for the new away shirt has taken place, and the shirt is now available for purchase in the Fan Shop."The shirt is in a classic white, with subtle hints of red and blue tones on the collar and sleeves", said Georg Kovacic from partner and kit manufacturer adidas about the new shirt. Roland Königshofer was also present in the iconic Cafe Landtman in downtown Vienna for the press launch, along with a strong media presence and three young Rapid stars: Dominik Starkl (called up to the Austria u21's), Max Hofmann and Mario Pavelic were on hand to sport the new shirt - "a great feeling", said a smiling Pavelic.But, if you want to catch a first hand look at the shirt for yourselves, then your in luck! We want to keep on down the road we're currently on, producing our own young talents, thats the future, thats the Rapid philosophy!" Club Services Manager Andy Marek ("we consciously went for a shirt in our traditional colours, not neon yellow or orange like other clubs have") had some useful info for the Rapid fans: "On the 27th July the season tickets go on pre-sale.
