Maximilian Entrup moves to Rapid

One of the most promising young strike talents in Austrian football, Maximillian Entrup, has joined us from second division outfit FAC. The 18-year old Entrup has signed a contract tying him to Rapid until summer 2019. Entrup has already represented Austria at u-19 level, and bagged three goals for FAC last season. In January Entrup, who makes the journey on Friday with the rest of the squad to the training camp in Bad Zell, caught the eye when he scored twice for FAC in a 3:1 friendly win over Rapid.

Sporting Director Andreas Müller: "With Maximillian Entrup we’ve successfully secured the services of a highly talented young striker despite several other clubs showing a strong interest. That we beat others to his signature makes the deal even more satisfying. During the Bad Zell training camp he’ll have the chance to prove his talents amongst the first team and gradually work his way into the senior squad."
