A new face on the training team
Stefan Oesen recently left SK Rapid for the ÖFB (Austrian Football Federation), leaving the position of video analyst vacant - but it didn't stay vacant for long: In Daniel Seper, the club have found Stefan's successor to work alongside the coaching staff.
The 30-year-old from Burgenland studied sport and history to become a teacher, and then developed further in the scientific field of training, and is currently completing his own training for a UEFA A-licence. Seper also worked as a coach for LAZ Oberwart, in his home town, and studied match analysis and scouting in Germany. He was also active in sports: In the Regionalliga Ost (Austrian third division) he played 190 competitive matches for Neusiedl am See, Oberwart, Sollenau and Wiener Sportklub over the years. He has already begun his match analysis, working actively at SK Rapid during the last two club friendlies.
Managing Director of Sport Zoran Barisic: "We are happy that we have found a specialist in Daniel Seper, who has already been able to gather a lot of experience despite his young age. We are convinced that he will integrate brilliantly into our team of coaches and become an important part of it!"
