Earlier on this morning Rapid were back on their travels: the team flew from Vienna Airport to Liege, where the players, staff, press and first influx of fans boarded busses for the approx. 1 hour drive to Genk. The whole Green & White party arrived safe and sound in Belgium and have been spending the early afternoon getting acclimatised to the new surroundings. There is a confident air in and around the squad, although no-one is under any illusions about the size of the task that lies in wait. Trainer Zoran Barisic: "Of course Genk are a side with lots of experience both domestically and internationally, a side that is technically gifted and one that will have gained an awful lot of self confidence owing to the superb run of form they've been on this season. The match is going to be a huge challenge for us, but its the type of occasion from which our young players can only benefit. We need to trust in our own capabilities and really play to our full potential to take points from the game."The official press conference ahead of tomorrow's game will take place at KRC Genk's Cristal Arena in the early evening, with the final training session following on directly afterwards. We'll keep you up to date with all the latest goings on in Belgium!
